A bit about who *we* are. We consists of me (of course) Bonnie Stenzel, my youngest daughter Raechel, and the home crew that makes the weekends possible. That is hubby, Eddy, my eldest daughter Katie, and Shyanne my granddaughter. We live on the border of Texas and Arkansas, where to pay the bills Raechel operates a grooming/ boarding/ training facility known as The Barking Lot School of the Performing Arfs. I am a NADOI certified instructor and master Pet Stylist and have recieved many awards in competition. I am currently the salon manager for a local pet salon. Raechel is a professional handler, with many, many CH, in several breeds as well as top ranked specials. My kids mark the fourth generation dog person, third generation show folks. Between us we have many titles in conformation and performance, in three countries, ROM sires and dams, and all the fancy stuff your time and money helps you obtain. But of course, at the end of the day it is the dogs we go home to. And that, is why we have dogs. OK that's all for the brags. But I reserve the right to sneak a few occasionally! |
Our goal in our breeding program is quite simple. To produce the best dogs we can. Dogs with outstanding conformation. Dogs with loving outgoing happy personalities. Dogs that have sound bodies, in structure and health. To meet these ends we test our breeding stock for genetic diseases that concerns our breeds, we constantly study the current information of genetics, health and behavior for our breed and all dogs in general. Our dogs are tested both in the conformation ring and some performances as well. We work & live with our dogs on a day to day basis, and they live with each other. In order for this to be possible our dogs need to be of sound mind, and be biddable and willing to learn. All dogs are trained in some level of obedience, agility and some fun stuff, tricks to make us smile. We compete in conformation to prove their soundness on body, and test in training and performance events to prove their mind. We live, love and play with them to prove their depth of soul. Breeding is never taken lightly, we breed to reach out goals, one puppy at a time. |
